I cannot say enough good things about Meadowbrook Respiratory! My mother received excellent care here. From the beginning, we felt welcomed, supported, and cared for. The staff here is incredible, especially Dr. Mazor. He was kind, patient, and compassionate. I highly recommend this facility!

I recently had a family member at Meadowbrook for rehab and I have nothing but amazing things to say! The staff was amazing and the facility was well kept up! Very attentive staff… the Director of Nursing was amazing… Jacque! So warm and welcoming.. she was there to help us every step of the way as we navigated a very difficult time for our family! I will never bring my family anywhere else!

I brought my loved one to Meadowbrook Respiratory, and from the moment we walked in, I felt a real sense of comfort. The room was newly renovated, clean and welcoming, and the food was genuinely good you could tell it was made with care, not just thrown together.

What really made the difference, though, was the people. Jacque Misstretta, the Director of Nursing, and Robert Cohen, the Administrator, both greeted us with a smile and warmth that truly showed they cared. They were present every day, walking around, checking in, and making sure everything overnight was handled smoothly. That kind of involvement meant a lot. . . .

The nursing staff were incredibly kind and patient. They took the time to explain things, answer questions, and make sure we always knew what to expect. I never felt like I had to chase anyone down for answers they just genuinely cared.

And beyond the great care, the whole place just has a good vibe. There’s music, activities, and laughter in the hallways. It doesn’t feel cold or clinical it feels alive. That kind of atmosphere makes a huge difference, not just for the residents but for the families too.

I’m really grateful for the way they cared for my loved one, and for the way they treated us as family the whole way through. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone that wants to keep their loved ones in a happy warm environment all while receiving the best care!!!

Meadowbrook Respiratory & Nursing Center has been such a blessing for our family. It is very hard to find a facility that has a vent unit, and not only do they have the vent unit they have incredible loving staff who are kind, attentive, and truly care about the residents. The facility is clean, comfortable, and well-run. Our loved one is happy, safe, and well cared for, we couldn’t ask for more! Highly recommend!

Meadowbrook Respiratory and Nursing took great care of me for all the 4 months that I was there. They have a great staff with nurses like Dyle, Vicky, Martha the nursing aide, Bernadette, Yolanda, Amand,a and the event coordinator Miranda Wyman who is the greatest. She is very caring and kind to all the patients at Meadowbrook. The most important part of my recovery is the physical therapist Patrick. There’s no doubt in my mind that Patrick is the best of the best therapist in the East Coast. I was basically dead in my bed for 2 months – I could not move or sit down until I met Patrick. He brought me back from death and gave me my life back. I will always be so thankful and grateful for my therapist Patrick. Thank you my brother, God bless you always. You are an angel walking on the earth, the best that anybody can find.

I could not be more pleased with the outstanding and comprehensive care the staff is providing my mother. Everyone is so kind, caring, and professional. My mother enjoys all of her meals, and looks forward to engaging in her daily exercise routine. I have total peace of mind knowing mom is well taken care of and is back to enjoying her life. Staff is super friendly and genuinely concerned for people’s well-being. Residents are treated with dignity and respect. Management checks up regularly with all residents and are very accommodating. People here go out of their way to greet and make all visitors feel welcome. Top standards!! There are fun activities like Bingo, arts and crafts, even a petting zoo!!!

The atmosphere is very comfortable. Staff is very helpful. I’ve been here for 3 weeks and the staff have been very helpful. Therapy is great here. I would recommend this facility to everyone who is in need. Food is good. Therapy is great. They have many fun outings and trips. I would definitely come back to Meadowbrook if needed to.

I came to Meadowbrook Respiratory and Nursing center earlier this month. The food is good, and the nurses and aides are very good. Everybody has been good to me. Therapy is very good to me as well. The Activities are very good. We have many things to do during the day. The renovations look very nice as well. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking to come here.

I spent 3 weeks here after a heart valve replacement. My stay included physical therapy as I was bedridden for almost 6 weeks. I was also getting IV antibiotics three times a day. At the time of my stay the home was getting a facelift but the workers were never an interference. The nurses were caring and actually nice. As far as a safe place to stay with a happy outlook and people that listen to you, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better place.

Dear Caroline,

I don’t know where to start so I will start by saying thank you from the bottom of my heart! Even though thanking you seems so small compared to what you have done for me!

You were the first to believe in me! That I would be strong enough to breathe on my own again when in reality, I felt so weak I didn’t want to ever breathe again!
Your endless dedication, support, tough love and friendship, just to mention a few, has helped get to where I am today.

The only fitting thing to say would be that I owe you my life; but since you saved it I’m not giving it up!

I truly hope that our friendship does not end when I walk out of these doors. There is a special place in my heart for you and I want you to be a part of my life that you gave me a new beginning to!

My mom has been a resident since December 2022. She has come a long way from not wanting to get out of bed to asking when bingo is. To even the smallest activity of getting her nails done. The activities department is great. Miranda encourages her so much.

We have only been there for a week but everyone is nice and made my wife comfortable for her road to recovery.

My family and I are happy with most of the staff at the facility who take care of our Mom. She loves the healthy food choices and mealtime is her favorite time. Thanks to the amazing dietician Karen for always staying on top of my moms dietary restrictions and always popping in and making sure she’s enjoying her meals. Pierre, Felix and Hardei go over and above to care for her daily needs and necessary medical attention.

My father receives very good care here. The staff are knowledgeable, patient, attentive, and dedicated.
